I think this is my favorite post of yours, it really moved me. It’s funny how I used to think about eternity the same when I was much younger - wouldn’t it get boring and even found the idea of eternity quite scary back then 🥲 and “thinking about the fact that i one day won’t have my parents here with me keeps me up at night.” I can relate to this so much. I have been extremely blessed that alhamdulillah I haven’t dealt with loss in the form of death of too close loved ones so far. But really can’t fathom the idea of losing my parents or sister when the day comes. So lately I’ve just been appreciating their presence as much as I can.
I think you tackled such a significant topic beautifully and it is a much needed reminder that our lives - and everything in it is temporary.
